All New 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Refresh, Review, Colors – Recent information suggests that the 2024 Toyota RAV4 mid-size SUV will receive an update later this year, including several long-awaited technical updates, such as the addition of a digital instrument display. The information comes from a new international report.
As reported by the Japanese website Creative Trend, Toyota dealers in Japan have been notified of the arrival of an updated RAV4 in October 2022. This is less than a year after the previous Model Year 2022 (MY22) update, introduced to Japanese consumers on December 20, 2021, and to Australian consumers just a few weeks ago.

When compared to the Model Year, 2022 (MY22) update, which concentrated on minor exterior revisions and standard specification changes, the Model Year 2024 (MY24) update will focus on technology updates, led by the introduction of a 12.3-inch digital instruments cluster for 3 of the four available variants (excluding special editions).
G, G “Z Package,” and Adventure grades will be equipped with the new widescreen display, which will take the place of the previous 7.0-inch production, which is now standard on the higher-spec XSE, Cruiser, and also Edge variants in Australia.
The 4.2-inch instrument clusters display (between the analog dials) currently found in the entry-level RAV4 X in Japan – or the GX and GXL in Australia – will be replaced with the aforementioned 7.0-inch screen in the United States.
According to Creative Trend, a new “display audio system… with connected navigation” will be added to the RAV4 in 2023. The website claims that this refers to Toyota’s new-generation infotainment system, which debuted in Australia’s Lexus NX luxury SUV and will replace the frequently criticized software found in today’s RAV4.
The RAV4’s new infotainment system, according to Creative Trend, will feature a larger 10.5-inch screen, similar to those found in Japan’s Toyota Noah and Voxy people mover – though this has not yet been confirmed, and it is unclear whether the 10.5-inch screen will replace or complementing the existing 8.0-inch and 9.0-inch displays. In either case, satellite navigation, in-car Wi-Fi connectivity, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are all expected to be included.
In addition to the HDMI port in the cabin, the Toyota RAV4’s 2023 update is expected to include an upgraded autonomous emergency braking system with support for intersections and motorcycles, an improved adaptive cruise control function, and a design that brings the vehicle to a complete stop if the driver becomes incapacitated. In addition, a hybrid version of the Adventure variant for the Japanese market will be introduced – effectively an Edge model with all-terrain tires and other modifications – but this model is not currently available in Australia.
The RAV4’s engine lineup indicated that the present model’s 2.0-liter non-turbo four-cylinder petrol engine, 2.5-liter petrol engine, and the best-selling 2.5-litre hybrid system would all be retained. All New 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Refresh
It is unclear how these new technology will affect prices, though it is likely that prices would rise due to the latest technology. The pricing range for the 2022 Toyota RAV4 is $34,300 to $52,320, including on-road costs. All New 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Refresh
